New Approach to the Way Small Businesses are Financed

Jack Elaad, Co-Founder, Chairman at Credithood

With over 45 years of professional experience in a wide range of roles in finance and investment, Jack had realized that it is time for a change. Credithood is the world’s first platform for community-shared financing, focusing on small businesses. When it comes to financing, the banking system has long ago lost the attention and focus to answer the needs of small businesses. Small businesses are the lifeblood of the economy, and their #1 obstacle to growth is their inability to get financed. Credithood is creating a whole new way of evaluating small businesses, and helping them get financed, using an asset currently underutilized: Their loyal customers.

Prior to co-founding Credithood, Jack had served as the chairman of the Boards of The First International Bank of Israel, Fibi Bank-Zurich, Ubank. He was also an Investment Committee member of the Technion and the Managing partner of Sadot R&D Fund, and Israeli based VC Fund.

Jack has earned his Masters Degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the Hebrew University and a Bachelor Degree in Economics from BenGurion University.
