About the speaker:

Yoel Naveh was appointed as a Chief Economist at the Ministry of Finance by the former Minister, Yair Lapid. Prior to this role Mr. Naveh had Managed the Postal Bank, served as a manager of credit, pensions and provident funds of the Harel Group, and beforehand served as a CEO of the New Makefet Fund. In addition, between 1993-2002 Mr. Naveh fulfilled a variety of positions in the Ministry of Finance, with the most recent being a Deputy Director of the Budget Department, responsible for the fields of macro, communications, and industry. He also serves as a reserve pilot (lieutenant colonel) at the IDF.

Naveh earned his undergraduate degree in Economics and Accounting and Masters of Economics from the Hebrew University.
