No. It's not fun to get a "NO". Really, no pleasure.
CEO's, entrepreneurs, and creative people of all kinds experience lots of kinds of "NO", but most of the time "NO" is the best answer you can expect.
The ability to embrace a "NO", to accept it with love and understand that it's an integral part of the process, is crucial.
The way forward however is to examine all the reasons for that "NO", to deal with them with courage by challenging ourselves to original thinking that will develop the process and push it on further.
Every "NO" is a great opportunity to search for the next "YES".

Amichay is the former Chief Creative Officer & Joint Managing Partner of Shalmor Avnon Amichay / Y&R, Israel (1994-2011) were he led the agency to become a market leader in creativity and innovation, and one of the 3 biggest agencies in the country. In 2011, the agency was successfully sold to WPP.
Over the years Amichay won honors and awards around the world: 19 Cannes Lions, 2nd best Media Agency of the Year (Cannes Lions 2009), 2nd best PR Agency of the Year (Cannes Lions 2011), 9 Clio awards, a Grand Prix at the London International Awards and at the New York Festivals and many more. Last year, he served as the President of the Direct Jury at the Cannes Festival.
He has started his career as a cartoonist (published in all the major newspapers in Israel as well as in The New Yorker).
He is the author of "No, No, No, No, No, Yes", a book on innovation and creativity. The book is targeted at all creative minds will soon be published in English. He currently lecturers at the School of Visual Arts and is a speaker all over the world.
He has a B.A. (HONORS) from Bezalel Art Academy and an EMBA from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership.
