About the speakers:

Liron Gitig, Partner FTV Capital,Enterprise Technology & Services

Liron is responsible for leading investments in enterprise technology & services. Prior to joining FTV Capital in 2006, Liron was responsible for software investments at venture funds including Lazard Technology Partners, Giza GE Venture Fund and BRM Capital. Before entering the venture capital field, Liron served as vice president of corporate development at Fundtech Corporation, a global provider of electronic payments, cash management and settlement solutions. At Fundtech, Liron was responsible for leading strategic planning, and for identifying and executing on strategic acquisitions and partnerships. Liron began his career as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers, where he provided corporate finance and strategic advisory services to leading companies in the technology industry. Liron received a BS degree magna cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a joint JD/MBA degree from the Columbia Law and Business Schools.

Inbar Haham, Partner Capital A 

Inbar is a Partner at Capital A Partners, “CAP A”, an early stage, Preferred Seed and Series A venture capital firm operating out of New York, NY, USA & Stockholm, Sweden. CAP A invests in B2B tech companies focused on the global marketplace in areas of Mobility. Human-Computer Interaction and “Infrastructure of Things”. The fund’s expertise lies in investing in and bridging top companies from the Nordics and Israel to the USA market.
Inbar has over 15 years of technology and finance experience. As a venture capitalist, she led business development for 5 years in the USA for Magma VC, one of Israel’s most established VCs. Inbar has an extensive network in the USA and Israel and a strong deal-flow pipeline. She stays involved in advising early stage startups on fund raising and growth strategies. Inbar was also one of the first team members at Wix (WIX NASDAQ), one of Israel’s most successful technology startups. Inbar is featured as one of 10 Israelis making a mark on New York’s the scene.

Uri Perelman, Head of M&A, NICE

 

 

Danny Schultz, Partner Gotham Ventures

 

Danny has been investing in startups for over 2 decades. Founding Gotham Ventures in 1999, he has a network of relationships spanning New York, Silicon Valley, Boston, LA, London, Israel and parts of Asia. He is attracted to entrepreneurs challenging the status quo, and focuses on companies in fintech, AI, IoT, e-commerce, sportstech, health & wellness and the enterprise.

Today, he leads Gotham’s investments in the fast growing fintech companies, LendKey and YipitData. Danny is also responsible for Gotham’s successful exits in XOsoft (Israel), Pivot and Massive, and prior to Gotham, in SMARTS (Israel); Insulair and Active Impulse Systems.  Acquirors have included Google, Facebook, Microsoft, AT&T, Adobe and others.

Prior to launching Gotham Ventures, Danny ran equity private placements at Lehman Brothers. Going back to the mid-1980s, he was an early pioneer in the Israeli tech scene paving the way for many of Israel’s early successful IPOs. 

Danny has appeared on Bloomberg TV and MSNBC and is a member of the Investment Committee of the American Friends of Hebrew University. He graduated from Columbia University where he majored in Economics and is also active with Autism Speaks and the Green Chimney’s School.  Danny and his boys reside in Westchester, New York, where, in his spare time, he can frequently be found playing or coaching his boys’ hockey, cooking, or in nicer weather training for his next triathlon.
